Camp Fun!
Nothing says summer quite like a calendar packed with camps! Our campus has been buzzing with excitement all season as campers have enjoyed a wide variety of fun, engaging, and enriching activities.
Mrs. Shortes hosted a wonderful Choir Camp back in June! The students learned four pieces of music; using voice, xylophone, and ukulele. They played music games, challenged their solfège knowledge (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti), and learned successful choir techniques!
Creativity was on full display at Mrs. Sizer’s Art Camp as campers explored a variety of artistic styles and techniques while creating their own unique masterpieces. It was a colorful week filled with imagination, hands-on learning, and plenty of artistic fun!
Summer was full of creativity and faith in Ms. MK’s camps! Campers enjoyed Bible-themed stories, music, crafts, games, and tasty snacks during Bible Camp, while young artists explored their imaginations through hands-on projects in a fun and inspiring Art Camp.
Mrs. Brown brought the wizarding world of Harry Potter to life with her camp. Students learned all about quidditch, made their very own broomsticks and wands, created potions, and played Harry Potter themed games!
Camp Math-A-Lot was a fun and engaging four days of learning, problem-solving, and building confidence in math! Students strengthened their skills in place value, money, two-digit addition and subtraction, telling time, and solving story problems through hands-on activities, games, and real-world practice. It was amazing to watch students grow their math skills while developing perseverance, teamwork, and a love for learning to set them up for a successful year in 2nd grade math!
Mr. Strawbridge inspired campers to express themselves through both the written word and the stage during his Creative Writing and Creative Dramatics camps. From imaginative storytelling to lively performances, campers built confidence, creativity, and had plenty of fun along the way.
At Lego Robotics Camp, led by Nancy Schunke and Lori Vinson, our rising fifth and sixth grade students continued developing their coding and building skills. Students participated in engaging, hands-on activities that strengthened problem-solving, collaboration, and perseverance. The camp also generated excitement and momentum for our robotics program as we prepare for the new school year.
Mrs. Lewis’s Around the World Camp took campers on an exciting journey across the globe as they explored different countries, cultures, and traditions through fun facts, hands-on crafts, international recipes, and passport stamps collected at each destination. The week was filled with creativity, learning, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. A special thank you to the Texas Tech Occupational Therapy graduate students for volunteering their time and helping make this adventure such a wonderful experience for our campers!
Mrs. Lewis also hosted a STEM Camp. It was filled with hands-on learning as campers explored science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through creative design challenges and teamwork. From building pet hotels and Number Houses to engineering thermal ovens and coolers and making s’mores with an iron while learning about heat transfer, campers strengthened their problem-solving skills, embraced the engineering design process, and had a blast discovering new concepts along the way.

In Case You Missed It
Lowerpalooza
Cooler weather couldn’t dampen the fun at this year’s Lowerpalooza! Our Lower School students made the most of every moment with smiles, laughter, and plenty of excitement. From games and activities to time spent celebrating with friends, the day was filled with joy, fun and unforgettable memories!
Lower School Talent Show
Who’s got talent? Our Lower School Patriots do! This year’s Lower School Talent Show was filled with incredible performances that had the audience cheering from start to finish. Performances included beautiful singing and energetic dance routines, hilarious stand-up comedy, and unique acts of every kind. Our talented students wowed the crowd with their creativity, confidence, and hard work. With so many outstanding performances, choosing the winners was no easy task! Jett Nunez took home first place for his hilarious comedic timing, Suria Kurdi and Clara Axelrud placed second for their amazing Wicked duet, and Willa Jean Griffith rounded out third for her spectacular singing talents. We are so proud of every student who stepped into the spotlight and shared their talents, making this year’s show one to remember!
NJHS and MS STUCO
Legacy of Games, Growth, and Giving
Throughout the year, NJHS and Middle School STUCO planned and implemented projects to benefit the All Saints community and also the greater Lubbock community. In the fall semester, this collaboration produced almost 100 hygiene kits for our friends at St. Benedict’s–students brought items and funds for the kits, assembled the kits, and created cards included in the packages. In the spring, the collaboration made the annual events of Tacos and Tie Dye and SpikeFest successful.
Additionally, NJHS students regularly decorated delivery bags for Meals on Wheels and for Rainbow Room. The colorful bags with affirming messages help bless clients experiencing difficult situations. NJHS also donated fleece no-sew blankets to Rainbow Room and towels to South Plains Wildlife Rehab Center.
Eighth Grade Celebration!
On May 21, our eighth-grade students and their families gathered at the Lubbock Women’s Club for a memorable evening celebrating the completion of their middle school journey. The Eighth Grade Celebration was filled with fellowship, reflection, and recognition as we honored the students’ growth, accomplishments, friendships, and the many ways they have enriched the All Saints community.
During the evening, Aleena Haider received the Aaron Hoffman Award, Madison Pinkston was presented with the Patriot Ambassador Award, and Ellis Key and Aleena Haider were honored with the Monty Vogel Award. Congratulations to these outstanding students and to the entire eighth-grade class on a successful year! We are proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to watching them continue to grow, lead, and thrive as they begin their Upper School experience.
